Serial No. 2167

'The Twister' itself featured an imported pickguard assembly with electronics by Eko, but it was also possible to order the Weill pickup-equipped American Label range models (namely the Twinmaster, Triplemaster, and Stereomaster) with the new Twister body-shape as the Twistmaster, Triple-Twistmaster, and Stereo-Twistmaster(!)

This 1962 'Twistmaster' features the Twinmaster's deluxe 'exposed polepiece' high-output single coil pickups, and excellent Featherlite vibrato system (which publicity material unfortunately claimed "can not be improved in any way"), with the new'Twister' body-shape.
