American Label Range, 1961-2

Melody Maker 11th Nov 1961

The AMERICAN LABEL RANGE was announced with this advert in November 1961 and was comprised of the existing Twinmaster (pka Streamline Super) / Triplemaster / Stereomaster / Contrabass models. These were: a medium scale 2-pickup guitar, a short-scale 3-pickup mono, or stereo guitar, and accompanying bass version of the Super Streamline model. Updated to 6-in-line headstock for the Christmas 1961 advert. Also offered with Twister body shape from June 1962-1963/4. Contrabass continues to be offered through 1963/4, alongside the Twistratone Bass (from 1962 with Penetrone pickups).
